Kriketune (Cosmic Eclipse)

Kriketune from Cosmic Eclipse has an interesting Attack. Its Attack Improvisational Perfromance has 3 different effects and the effect you get from this Attack depends on the number of cards in your Hand. Only 1 Grass Energy is required to use this Attack.

Here are its effects:

• 1 Card : Extra 100 Damage
• 3 Cards: Confuses your opponent's Active Pokemon
• 6 Cards: 30 Damage to each of your opponent's Benched Pokemon

You can build your Deck  for either your choice of specific effect or all effects. Anyways, the Pokemon is definitely fun to play regardless of whatever effect you choose. Ii is the only card that hasHigh Damage, Confuse Status Condition and Benched Damage.

Controlling No of Cards in Hand

Judge (Supporter) and Marshadow's Ability Let Loose can be used to shuffle your Hand and draws 4 cards in your Hand. Then, play 1 more card from your Hand and you will left with 3 Cards in your Hand. This will allow you to have Confuse Effect from Improvisational Perfromance Attack.

 

Cynthia (Supporter) allows you to shuffle your Hand and draws 6 Cards. With playing any cards, you will be able to deal Benched Damage with Improvisational Performance. 

Getting 1 Card in your Hand is not as straightforward as getting 3 Cards or 6 Cards in your Hand. One way is to use either Ultra Ball (Item) to discard 2 Cards or Viridia Forest (Stadium) to discard 1 Card  from your Hand depending on the number of the cards in your Hand. These Trainer Cards can be also played together with Judge or Marshadow to get 1 Card in your Hand.
