Victini V Battle Deck

Victini V Battle Deck

Victini V Battle Deck comprises of Fire Pokemon and Colorless Pokemon. All the attackers in this Battle Deck are Fire Pokemon while Colorless Pokemon are used as Support Pokemon. This deck relies on very high damage attacks that requires you to discard Energy from attackers. Then, you can re-attach those Energy from discard pile using Pokemon Ability or attack. Or you can intentionally discard those Energy using Supporters or Pokemon Ability. After that, accelrate those Energy from discard pile using Pokemon Ability or attack.

Start the game with Chatot if it is in your hand. You can find 2 Basic Fire Energy from your deck using its attack, Minor Errand Running [1 Colroless Energy]. As mentioned earlier, you can accelerate Fire Energy from your discard pile. To do that, you need to find those Fire Energy first. Similary, you can also find 2 Fire Energy cards using Sonia. If you have enough Fire Energy in your hand, you can use Sonia other effect to find 2 Basic Pokemon instead.

Once you have extra Fire Energy in your hand, you can start discarding those Energy using either Cinccino, Milo or Professor's Research. Cinccino Ability Make Do let you draw 2 cards by discarding 1 cards from your hand while Milo let you draw 2 cards for each card you discarded from your hand and you can discard up to 2 cards. On the other hand, you need to discard your entire hand if you use Professor's Research and then draw 7 cards.

This is like "Killing 2 Bird with 1 Stone" since you can both discard Fire Energy for Energy acceleration and draw more cards for better set up

You can attach up to 3 Fire Energy from your discard pile to your Pokemon in anyway you want by using Victini V Attack, Spreading Flame. This is the best attack for accelerating Fire Energy in this deck.  Some of the main attackers need at least 3 Fire Energy to use their attack. Attaching 3 or more Fire Energy manually from your hand is not efficient at all. So, it is better to use Spreading Flame as soon as possible before your opponent finish setting up.

Victini V other attack, Energy Burst does 30 times number of Energy attached both Victini V and your opponent's Active Pokemon. Since Energy Burst requires 2 Fire Energy, the attack has 60 minimum damage. This attack is good to use against opponnet's Active which has 3 or more Energy attached. So that, this attack will have at least 150 damage.

Bede also can be used to accelerate 1 Basic Energy from your hand to 1 of your Benched Pokemon. With the help of Bede, you can attach up to 2 Fire Energy within 1 turn. If your Benched attacker has enough Energy to attack after using Bede, you can use Switch to changed its position with current Active Pokemon. Then, you can begin attacking using new Active Pokemon.

Ninetales is suitable for early game because its main attack, Fire Mane requires only 2 Energy and the attach has decent damage of 70. In addition, it is easy to set up Ninetales because of Stage 1. Its other attack, Flame Cloak has 30 damage and can be used to attach 1 extra Fire Energy from your discard pile to it. Doing so, your Ninetales will have 2 Energy and you can attach Fire Energy to other Pokemon during your next turn.

Although Turtonator is Basic Pokemon with high damage, it is not very suitable for early game. Its high damage attack, Fire Spin [150 damage] requires 3 Fire Energy and 1 Colorless Energy which is a lot. Furthermore, you need to discard 2 Energy from it after using Fire Spin. In the early game, you might now have enough cards to accelerate Energy for Fire Spin so it is better to leave it for mid game. And you can't also really on its first attack, Tackle which has very low damage of 30.

Cinderace is a late game attacker in this deck. It has only one attack, Flare Striker which can OHKO any Single Prize Pokemon with 190 huge damage. This attack require 2 Fire Energy and 1 Colorless and you need to discard 2 Energy from Cinderace after using it.

You don't really need to accelerate Energy from Cinderace because of its Ability, Libero. This Ability let your attach 2 Fire Energy from you discard pile to Cinderace when you move it from Bench to Active Spot. So, you only need to attach 1 Fire Energy manually from your hand and you can start attacking using Flare Striker. There are two ways you can move Cinderace to Active Spot in this deck. The first one is by using Switch and the other way is by retreating your current Active Pokemon normally by discarding required Energy.

You can set up up to 2 Cinderance in this deck. After you use your Active Cinderace Flare Strike and discard 2 Fire Energy from it, you can replace it with your Benched Cinderace during your next turn in order to attack agian. So that, you only need to attach 1 Fire Energy from your hand to keep using Flare Striker every turn.
