Discarding Fossil
Unidentified Fossil (Item) is most important Card for Armaldo. Without any Unidentified Fossil in Discard Pile, Ancient Blast will only deal 20 Damage. Discarding this Card is not that hard because once you have it in play, you can discard at any time you wanted during your turn.
First, you need to have Unidentified Fossil Cards in your Hand in order to discard it. One way to pull these cards is through the use of Green's Exploration (Supporter). This Supporter allows you to search 2 Trainers Cards from your Deck and put those Cards into your Hand. Take note that you can't play this Supporter if you have any Pokemon with Abilities in play.
The process can be accelerated with Battle Compressor (Item). This Item Cards allows you to Discard 3 Cards from your Deck. For instance, using Green's Exploration to get 1 Battle Compressor and 1 Unidentified Fossil and then you will be able to discard 4 Unidentified Fossil Cards.

Set up
You might probably think that you won't be able to evolve Armaldo anymore as Unidentified Fossil are discarded. There is where Pokemon Research Lab (Stadium) comes in handy. This Stadium Card allows you to put 2 Pokemon that evolve from Unidentified Fossil onto your Bench. You turns will end after using this Stadium. With this, you will be able to put Anorith onto your Bench for evolving Armaldo.
Since not all Anorith are evolved from Unidentified Fossil, you can use Anorith from Cosmic Eclipse Set for this process.
Energy
Double Colorless Energy (Special Energy) can be used for Armaldo' s Ancient Ancient Blast.
