Lucario & Melmetal GX (Unbroken Bonds)

Lucario & Melmetal GX is very tough Pokemon and you might even with the whole game without being any Pokemon Knock Out if you play with the right cards.

The reason is that its GX Attack Full Metal Wall reduce 30 Damages from your opponent's Active Pokemon Attack to your Metal Pokemon for the rest of the game. You only need 1 Energy to use this GX . In addition, you can also discard all your oponent's Active Pokemon Energy Cards if you have 1 more Extra Energy attached to Luacario & Melmetal GX.

Reduce Damage

Equipping Metal Frying Pan to your Lucario & Melmetal GX, reduces another 30 Damage from your opponent's Attack. So, you will take 60 less Damage from your opponent Attack every turn. Furthermore, you Lucario & Melmetal GX will have No Weakness and thus you don't have to worry about Double Damage from your opponent's Fire Pokemon.

You can also use Altar of the Sunne Stadium Card to remove your Metal Pokemon' Weakness while you are waiting to get Metal Frying Pan in your Hand.

 

Preventing Knocked Out

In case your opponents have very High Damage Attacker which can Knocked Out your Active Pokemon within 3 Turns, you can either use Acerola or Scoop Up Cyclone to put back your Active Pokemon and all cards attached to it into your Hand before it is Knocked Out in next turn and then put your another Lucario & Melmetal from your Bench as your Active Pokemon.

You can easily Knock Out your opponent Active Pokemon with your New Active Pokemon before it Knock Out your new Active Pokemon.

 

Pokemon

Scizor GX Attack Steel Wing goes along very well with Lucario & Melmetal GX. The attack allows Scizor GX to takes 30 less Damage from attacks so it will take 90 less Damage (Steel WIng: -30 + Full Metal Wall: -30 + Metal Frying Pan: -30 ) from Attack if we apply all the effects that has been discussed. You only need 2 Energy to use Scizor GX Attack Steel Wing.

In addition, its Ability Danger Perception increases its Steel Wing Attack by 180 if it's HP is 100 or less.
