Gengar & Mimiikyu (Team Up)

The basic is the more Trainer Cards your opponent's Hand has, the higher the Damage from Gengar & Mimikyu GX's Attack Poltergeist. The Attack does 50 Damage for each Trainer Card in your opponent's Hand. So, our goal here is to either increase Trainer Card in your opponent's Hand or prevent your opponent's from using Trainer Cards.

If you have 1 Extra Psychic Energy Attach to Gengar & Mimikyu GX, its GX Attack Horror House not only prevent your opponent from playing cards from his or her Hand, also let your opponent draw until he or she has 7 Cards in Hand. This effect is the perfect combo for Poltergeist Attack.

Increasing Trainer Card in Hand

Omaster Ability Fossil Bind prevent your opponent's from playing any Item Card as long as you have fewer Pokemon in play than your opponent. So, your opponent Hand will left with Unusable Item Card and this will skyrocket Poltergeist Attack Damage.

You can further increase more Trainer Cards in your opponent's Hand by using Surprise Box. This Item Card allows you add 1 Trainer Card from your opponent's Discard Pile into his or her Hand. It will be wise to add a Trainer Card your opponent can't use right away so that you can get more Damage.

Disrupting your opponent's Hand

Sometimes, your opponents will either shuffle his or her Hand or doesn't have any Trainer Card in his or her Hand. In that case, Poltergeist Attack Damage will become 0. To solve this kind of situation, you need to reshuffle your opponent's Hand to get more Trainer Cards in your opponent's Hand. and it can be done by using Peeking Red Card. This Item Card allow you to look at your opponent's Hand and you can decide to whether shuffle your opponent's Hand or not. Since it is Item Card, you can play more than 1 Peeking Red Card for each turn.

You might not need to use Peeking Red Card if your opponent's Hand has more than enough Trainer Card to Knock Out an Active opponent's Pokemon. But how do you know whether your opponent has Trainer Card in his or her Hand. You have two options: use either Lavender Town Stadium Card or Gumshoos GX Ability Search The Premises. Both of these card allow you to look at your opponent's Hand each Turn. Take note that your opponent can also use Lavender Town during his or her Turn while only you can use Gumshoos Ability.
