Strategies

Majority of the Pokemon in this Theme Deck are Lighting Pokemon. There is also a Psychic Type Pokemon which is Nagandel and it is the only Psychic Type Pokemon in this Theme Deck. The damage are massive however you have to meet specific condition otherwise the damage will be just average.


Always start with focusing on Naganadel as an Attacker in the early game since other Pokemon require to either Evolve to Stage 2 or need to meet specific condition to deal heavy damage.

It's Attack Turning Point has average Damage of 80 for 3 Colorless Energy. As its Attack Name suggests the turning point occurs when you have exactly 3 Prize Cards left and the damage will become 160. This heavy Damage can knock out any Pokemon in Theme Deck.

It's Ability is very powerful if you used it in the right way. Charging Up allows you to attach 1 Basic Energy Card from Discard Pile to Naganadel regardless of whether it is on bench or in play. You can use this Ability in different ways. You can use it when Naganadel itself requires one more energy to perform Attack or when you want to retreat Nagandel since its retreat cost is only 1 Energy. In addition, you can use this Ability and Energy Switch (Item Card) together to transfer Energy to another Pokemon. First, attach Energy to Naganadel from Discard Pile using its Ability then transfer that Energy to other Pokemon using Energy Switch.





Raikou is the second Attacker after Naganadel. Normally, its Attack Lost Voltage has very low Damage of 30. But the Damage can be increased dramatically if there are any Electric Energy card in Lost Zone. The increase Damage is 120.

To send Electric Energy to Lost Zone, you need Ampharos Ability's Unseen Flash to do so. You need 2 Electric Energy Cards to use Unseen Flash and once you have it you can sent these 2 Energy Cards to Lost Zone and your Opponent Active Pokemon will be Paralyzed. So, it's like Raikou's Lost Voltage attack become 120 with Paralyze Status Effect. Unseen Flash Ability can use each turn but take note that Energy Cards in the lost can't be recovered.

You can use Lady (Supporter Card) to get 4 Lighting Energy in your hand if you need Energy Cards to use Unseen Flash Ability.





Zebstrika is mainly there for using its Ability rather than use it as an Attacker. Its Ability Sprint allows you to discard you hand and draw 4 Cards. Using its Ability will increase your change of getting the cards you want. Furthermore, if you manage to discard Energy Cards and you can always use Naganadel Ability Charging Up.
