The damage from its Attack Gold Rush is limitless. This attack does 30 damage from each Metal Energy Card you discarded. For example, if you discarded 10 Metal Energy Cards, the damage will be 300 [10*30]. The more Metal Energy Cards you discards, the higher the damage you can get from Gold Rush.
In order to utilize full potential Alolan Dugtrio's Gold Rush Attack, there are two factors we need to consider which are Number of Energy Cards in your hand and your Deck's Ability to recover energy cards from Discard Pile in case you run out of Energy Cards.
Professor' Letter (Item Card) allows you to search up to 2 Metal Energy Cards from your deck and put these cards into your hand.
Unlike Supporter Card which can only play one card per turn, there is no limit for number of Item Cards you can play for each turn.
For example, if you have 4 Professor's Letter Cards in your hand, you can play all those cards and draw up to 8 Energy Cards in your hand.
Mt.Coronet (Stadium Cards) allows you to put 2 Metal Energy Cards from your Discard Pile for each turn.
Energy Retrieval (Item Card) allows you to put 2 Metal Energy Cards from your Discard Pile.
Since this Item Card's Name includes Superior, you can expect to put more Energy Cards from your Discard Pile compared to Normal Energy Retrieval.
However, you have to discard any 2 Card from your hand in order to use this cards.
