Strategies

The Pokemon in this Theme Deck can do very well on its own without getting support from the other Pokemon. The main attacking Pokemon is Solgaleo which is the Stage Two form of Cosmog followed by the second main attacker Swellow. Bewear and Dhelmise can also be used as the attacker since they have the decent damage.Other than these Pokemon, there is also one very useful Pokemon, Slowbro will also be discussed as we go through each Pokemon.

Solgaleo's attack Fangs of the Sunne with 170 Damage is so powerful that it can knock out any defending Pokemon with one hit and you only need three basic energy to use this attack. Like all powerful attack for just small amount of energy, this attack comes with the price. The price is after using this attack, you can't use that attack on next term. So, you are forced to use other attack Shinning Arrow with 50 Damage that can damage any Pokemon (Both Defending Pokemon and Benched Pokemon).

However, there is one strategy to use Fangs of the Sunne without recharging. The trick work as follow: First use Switch (Item Card) to switch Solaleo with any Benched Pokemon with one energy retreat cost, then attached one energy to that Pokemon and retreat it and put Solgaleo as Attacking Pokemon again. This way allows you to use Fangs of the Sunne without recharging. Of course, you can also switch with the Pokemon that has already energy attached to it and meet the retreat cost requirements.

The second attacker, Swellow's Damage can deliver up to 120 Damage. But you need to use Agility Attack first before using this powerful Attack also known us Swellow Dive. Because Swellow Dive has base Damage of 40 and you can get extra 80 Damage if you use Agility last turn. This is very generous for just one energy and you might get full protecting from using Agility (Prevent both damage and any effect if you get head from flipping a coin)

Bewear and Dhelmise have decent base damage of 60 Damage and 70 Damage respectively. Beware's Ability is already discussed in Destruction Fang Theme Deck before, so you can read it here. Dhelmise Ability Steelworker allow your Steel Type Pokemon do 10 more extra damage. This mean, Solgaleo's Attack Fangs of the Sunne and Shinning Arrow damage become 180 and 60 respectively. Although it does not mean a lot for Fangs of the SUnne since 170 Damage is more than enough, increase of 10 Damage in Shinning Arrow will allow you to knock out with some of the Base Pokemon with 60 HP.

The last Pokemon, Slowbro has very useful Attack's Amnesia with 20 Damage. You might be wondering how come 20 Damage is useful. Let's see it's affect, Amnesia prevent your opponent from using the attack that you chose during your last turn. This is very strong effect especially when dealing with defending Pokemon with just one attack or high damage attack since the defending Pokemon can't significantly damage your Slowbro without their powerful attack or they simply can't attack in the case of Pokemon with one attack only.
