Pachirisu Deck [Brilliant Stars] ~ PTCG92

Overview

Don't be fooled by Pachirisu low HP of 70 and start thinking that it is not a good card. Pachirisu has only one attack, Mechanical Thunder and this attack does 30 damage for each Pokemon Tool card attached to your Pokemon for 2 Energy [1 Lightning Energy and 1 Colorless Energy]. You might still be skeptical about Pachirisu being a good card even after reading its attack. Because you might probably thing this attack can deal only max damage of 180 with 6 Pokemon Tools attached to 6 of your Pokemon in play. Continue reading and i will prove you wrong.

Increase Damage

The reason Pachirisu attack, Mechanical Thunder max damage can go beyond 180 damage is because of Honchcrow Ability Honcho's Stash. This Ability let you attach up to 4 Pokemon Tools to Honchrow V. 4 Pokemon Tools can add 120 damage to Mechanical Thunder damage. So, if you have 3 Benched Honchcrow V and each of them is equipped with 4 Pokemon Tool, Mechancial Thunder can OHKO any of your opponent Pokemon.

Another great thing about Pachirisu attack is that you don't need to discard Pokemon Tools from your Pokemon in play after using this attack So, you can always retain its massive damage every turn as long as your Honchcrow V is not knocked out during your opponent's last turn. In addition, you can attach multiple Pokemon Tools during your turn. All you need to do is find those Pokemon Tools from your decks and attach Tools those to your Pokemon. You can easily deal 200 plus damage with Mechanical Damage on your second turn given that you have a solid Draw System in your deck.

Pokemon Tools

Although you can put any Pokemon Tool in your deck for Mechanical Thunder, it is better to use appropriate Pokemon Tool so that you can bring out the deck's full potential.

Exp. Share is mainly for your Benched Pachirisu. When your Active Pachirisu is knocked out by damage from your opponent's Pokemon attack, Exp. Share let you transfer 1 Lighting Energy from your Active Pachirisu to your Benched Pachirisu equiiped with Exp. Share. After that, put that Benched Pachirisu as new Active Pokemon. Then, you only need to attach 1 more Energy from your hand to new Active Pachirisu during your turn and you can start attacking with new Active Pachirisu again.

You opponent will always Boss's Order your Honchcrow V and knock it out whenever he or she has a chance. Honchcrow V can be OHKO by most of the Pokemon V attack as its 200 HP is rather on the low side. To prevent your Honchrow V from getting OHKO, you can equip it with 1 or 2 Cape of Toughness to increase its HP to 250 or 300. Remember if your 1 of your Honchcrow V with 4 Pokemon Tool gets knocke out, Mechanical Thundder damage will be reduce by 120.

Lucky Egg is suitable for your Active Pachirius as it will get OHKO almost all the time. When it was knocked out, Lucky Egg will let you draw until you have 7 cards in your hand. As mentioned earlier, it is important to draw as many cards as possible in this deck so that you can get more Pokemon Tools in your hand.

Air Balloon is great for your Pokemon that doesn't need to attack. It let your Pokemon to have zero Retreat Cost as long as they have less than or equal to 2 Retreat Cost.

Stadium

There might be times you want to either save Pokemon Tool from your Pokemon or swap between Pokemon Tools from your Pokemon. You can do that with Shopping Center because this Stadium let you put 1 Pokemon Tool from your Pokemon to your hand during your turn. For instance, when your Benched Pachirisu become new Active Pachirisu, it doesn't need Exp. Share anymore. In this situation, you can use Shopping Center to put Exp. Share from Pachirisu and attached it to another Benched Pachirisu.
