Kingler VMAX Deck [Brilliant Stars]

Overview

Kingler VMAX is a tough Pokemon with 330 HP although it has no resistance. It has Lightning Weakness. So, it might be OHKO by Lighting Pokemon even though there are not many strong Lighting Pokemon haven't released yet. It has high retreat cost of 3 Energy so you definitely need Switch in your deck to conserve Energy.

Kingler VMAX is a very fast Water Energy accelerator due to its first attack, Form Party. For 1 Water Energy, this attack let you attach up to 5 Water Energy from your deck to any of your Pokemon in any way you like. Compare to Frosmoth [Sword & Shield], Kingler VMAX is better accelerator because it can't be knocked out easily and you don't need to have Water Energy in your hand to accelerate Energy. On top of that, you can attach those 5 Water Energy to any type of Pokemon and can also attach to both Active and Benched Pokemon.

Also, Kingler VMAX is a strong attacker. Its second attack, G-MAX Pincer has 240 damage but the attack does 30 damage to it. With 240 damage, you can OHKO most of the Basic V Pokemon. This attack requires 2 Water Energy and 1 Colorless Energy and you can also use its attack, Form Party to accelerate Energy for this attack.

Its pre-evolution, Kingler V has very similar attacks with lower quality. Kingler V first attack, Foam Fling also let you attach 5 Water Energy from your deck to any of your Pokemon in any way you want for 1 Water Energy. However, you can only use this effect if your get head from flipping a coin. Otherwise, you can't accelerate any Energy at all. On the other hand, it second attack, Crazy Pincer [2 Water Energy and 1 Colorless Energy] has 200 damage and the attack also does 30 damage to itself.

Additional Attacker

There are quite a number of Water and Colorless that work very well with Kingler VMAX.fast Water Energy acceleration. Pokemon such as Lapras VMAX, Cramorant VMAX and Blissey V etc. which rely on high number of Energy to get massive damage can take advantage of Kingler VMAX Foam Party effect.

But, Wailord V is decided to use in this deck because it has highest HP among Basic V Pokemon and its attack, Ocean Wave has potential to OHKO your opponent's VMAX Pokemon. Since Wailor V is a Basic V Pokemon, you only need to give 2 Prize Cards to your opponent and it is easier to set up because you don't need to evolve it.

Flip Coins again

Bother Kingler V and Wailord V can only bring out their full potential when you get head from flipping a coin. It is much easier to get 1 head for Kingler V attack, Foam Fling compared to Wailord V attack, Ocean Wave which you need 3 heads to get 360 damage to OHKO your opponent's VMAX Pokemon.

Glimwood Tangle let you can flip coin second time if you are not satisfy with your first result. With this effect, your chance of getting head for Kingler V attack, Foam Fling is very high. And, if you get head for Foam Fling, you can accelerate 5 Water Energy during your first turn if you go second.

Increase HP

As mention earlier, Kingler VMAX deals 30 damage to itself when you use its second attack. So, it is better to increase its HP with Big Charm [+30 HP] in order to prevent your opponent from OHKO your Kinger VMAX. You can also equip Big Charm to Wailord V when you opponent Active Pokemon has high damage to OHKO your Wailord V.
