Smeargle Deck Evolving Skies ~ PTCG92

Overview

Smeargle is an interesting and fun card to play especially if you are bored of current repetitive meta. It has only one attack, Live Painting which has 30 base damage and does 30 extra damage for each type of Basic Energy in your hand.

Since there are total of 9 types of Basic Energy, Life Painting max damage will be 300 if you managed to gather all types of Basic Energy in your hand. This is pretty amazing for Single Prize Pokemon to deal that amount of massive damage. On top of that, you don't need to reshuffle those Basic Energy cards into your deck after you use Live Painting. Thus, the max damage of 300 will remain the same unless your opponent use cards like Marnie. Also, this attack has very low Energy cost as you only need 2 Colorless Energy to use this attack.

Searching Energy

Finding different Basic Energy will be piece of cake with Eldegoss Ability Cotton Transport. This Ability allows you to find 2 Basic Energy cards from your deck and you can use this Ability multiple times. With 2 Eldegoss setup on your Bench, you will be able to find 4 different type of Basic Energy each turn.

Sometimes, some of the Basic Energy cards might be in your Prize Zone. In that case, you can use Peonia to try finding those cards in the Prize Zone. Although using Peonia doesn't guarantee to find Basic Energy, you still have 50% chance to find those Basic Energy cards.

Celebi with Ability Wonderland can also be used to find Basic Energy. This Ability allows you to look at top 6 cards of your deck and put any Energy you found there into your hand.

Energy

Attaching Twin Energy to Smeargle allows you to use Smeargle Life Painting immediatly.

New Special Energy, Treasure Energy works well with Peonia. If you managed to find this Special Energy using Peonia or taking it as Prize Card, you can attach it to 1 of your Pokemon. This effect can be used to accelerate 1 extra Energy to your Smeargle.

Stadium

Because the success of this deck heavily relies on Eldegoss, it is good to have Turffield Stadium in your deck which allows you to find Eldegoss from your deck and set it up as early as possible.
