Overview
Before Greninja V-Union is discussed, let me give some introduction about V-Union Mechanics. To play a V-Union Pokemon, all four different parts of V-Union Pokemon must be in your discard pile. Once all four parts of V-Union Pokemon are in your discard pile, you can assemble all four parts together and play it as 1 V-Union Pokemon on your bench. Similar to VMAX Pokemon, you opponent takes 3 Prize Cards when your V-Union Pokemon is knocked out.
Unlike other V-Union Pokemon, Greninja V-UNION has multiple Abilities. The first Ability, Ninja Body make Greninja V-UNION immune to all your opponent's Item effect. For instance, Greninja V-Union won't be switched with your Benched Pokemon when your opponent's use Escape Rope. The second Ability, Antidote Jutsu allows Greninja V-UNION to have Poison Immunity. Its last Ability, Probing allows you to look at your opponent hand. With this Ability, you can easily disrupt your opponent's hand with Marnie if there are important canrds in your opponent's hand.
Among its 3 attacks, its second attack, Whirlpool Shuriken is probably the best. The attack does 100 damage to each of your opponent's Benched Pokemon for 2 Water Energy and 1 Colorless Energy. With 2 attacks of Whirlpool SHuriken, you can knock out all your opponent's supporter Pokemon V like Crobat V, Eldegoss V etc.
The second attack, Water Edge can OHKO some of the Single Prize Pokemon since this attack has 130 damage. Furthermore, you only need 1 Water Energy to use this attack. On the other hand, its last attack, Waterfall Bind [2 Water Energy and 1 Colorless Energy] has 180 damage so you can use this attack 2HKO your opponent's VMAX Pokemon. In addition, your opponent's Active Pokemon can't retreat after receiving damage from this attack.
Its first attack, Union Gain is mainly for accelerating Energy since you can use it to attach 2 Energy from your discard pile to Greninja V-UNIONS
Discarding V-Union Cards
To play Greninja V-Union, you need to discard its parts either from your hand or from your deck. So, you deck definitely must have cards that can discard card.
Using Professor Burnet, you can discard 2 Cards from your deck. This way you can discard you can 2 parts of Greninja V-Union from your deck.
To discard Greninja V-Union parts from your hand, you need to have them in your hand first. Other than using Items such as Great Ball to find those parts, you can use Adventurer's Discovery to find 3 parts from your deck since this Supporter allows you to find 3 V Pokemon from your deck.
After that, you can use Galarian Articuno V Ability, Reconstitute to discard 2 parts and draw a card. Alternatively, you can also use Professor's Research to discard those parts if they are already in your hand.
.
Familiar Bell can also be used to find Greninja V-Union parts as long as 1 part is in the discard pile.
Energy Setup
With Frostmoth Ability, Ice Dance, you can easily attach 3 Water Energy from your hand to your Benched Greninja V-UNION after it is summoned. If you don't have enough Water Energy, you can find them using Capcious Bucket.
Additional Attacker
Relying on Greninja V-Union as an only attacker is not a smart choice since you need to few turns to set it up and you can only play 1 V-UNION Pokemon for the whole game. Inteleon VMAX attack, Max Bullet can snipe [60 damage] 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokemon in addition to its 160 base damage. With Max Bullet, you can lower some of your opponent's weak Benched Pokemon HP. Then, you can use Greninja V-UNION attack, Whirlpool Shuriken to wipe out those low HP Pokemon in the late game.
Increase Snipe Damage
The snipe damage of both Inteleon VMAX and Greninja V-UNION can be increased by 30 damage for V Pokemon and GX Pokemon with Telescopic Sight. Also, increased 90 damage of Inteleon VMAX can 2HKO some of the Basic V Pokemon
