Sableye (Sword & Shield)

Overview

If your opponent make this little guy mad, your opponent will sure regret it as it will reduce your opponent's Pokemon HP like crazy. Its second Attack Mad Claw has 10 Base Damage and does 60 more Damage for each Damage Counter on your opponent's Active Pokemon. The extra Damage effect of this Attack is nothing new since it is same as Mimikyu GX's Attack from Sun & Moon. The only difference is that Mad Claw has a lot more power than Mimikyu GX's Attack. You can also achieve highest Damage in game with this Attack and you only need (D)(D) to use this Attack.

The other Attack Ore Search require (D) and allows you to put a Trainer Card from your Discard Pile into your Hand. This effect really comes in handy when irritating or annoying your opponent  with Energy Destruction or Deck Out Strategy.

One major update is that Dark Type Pokemon has Grass Type Weakness in Sword & Shield era instead of usual Fighting Type. You might probably be thinking why the hell Dark Type are weak against Grass Type. Well, it is not really weak against Grass Type but rather against Bug Type. In terms of PTCG, both Grass Type Pokemon and Bug Type Pokemon are consider as Grass Type. Therefore, Dark Type Pokemon has Grass Weakness in Sword & Shield era.

Putting Damage Counters (Standard)

Although Mad Claw can deal huge amount of Damage, it will only does 10 Damage if your opponent's Pokemon has no Damage Counter on it. That is why you need to put Damage Counters on your opponent's Pokemon before using Mad Claw Attack.

Galarian Zigzagoon's Ability Tantrum Head allows you to put 1 Damage counter on 1 of your opponent's Pokemon when you play this Pokemon from your Hand onto your Bench. Now, Mad Claw will deal 70 Damage (10 + 1x60) when you use it for the first time. Subsequently, it will deal 4210 Damage (10 + 70x60) during your second attack. 4280 (70+4210) Damage in 2 Turns can Knock Out any Pokemon. In other words, Mad Claw Attack can 2HKO any Pokemon as long as you managed to put 1 Damage Counter before using this Attack.

Similar to Galarian Zigzagoon's Ability, Galarian Obstagoon Ability's Brutal Shout Ability allows you to put 3 Damage Counters on 1 of your opponent's Pokemon when you play this Pokemon to evolve 1 of your Pokemon from your Hand. With 3 Damage Counters, you will get 190 Damage (10 + 3*60) from Mad Claw which is strong enough to Knock Out some of the V Pokemon with 1 Hit.

In order to speed up setting up Galarian Obstaggon, Rare Candy (Item) can be used to directly evolve Galarian Zigzagoon to Galarian Obstaggon

Decidueye GX's Ability Feather Arrow allows you to put 2 Damage Counters on 1 of your opponent's Pokemon. Unlike previous Pokemon, Decidueye GX's Ability can used once per turn.

Grimsley (Supporter) might come in handy when your opponent switch its Active Pokemon with Benched Pokemon. Then, you can use this Support to move 3 Damage Counter from your opponent's previous Active Pokemon to current Active Pokemon.
